After a loved one dies, we miss that spontaneous presence as if he or she just walked by and said, "hello." Our wind chime brings back that spontaneity as the winds unexpectedly blow and the chimes ring.
   The wind has been a source of comfort for us since our son, Dakota died. The winds blew fiercely then calmed to a gentle breeze. We believe the wind was Dakota, letting us know his spirit was all around us. Today we still find comfort when the wind hugs us and we hear the chimes ring.
   Our custom-designed wind chime was created to provide the same comfort to others who have experienced the loss of a spouse, friend, child, or other loved one. The sunflower, with its amber glass center, will warm a saddened heart, as it symbolizes hope for a brighter tomorrow. The heart-shaped wind catcher symbolizes love that endures beyond grief with its inscription "Love You" on one side and the personally engraved name of your loved one on the other.
